Carmela Karipis is a vibrant young performer with a rapidly expanding portfolio across television, digital, and social media platforms. She has featured in national and international campaigns for some of the world’s most recognisable brands — bringing energy, confidence, and authenticity to every performance.

Her standout commercial credits include campaigns for Woolworths, Obela Australia, The Athlete’s Foot, Zone Bowling, Timezone, and Everdure.

Carmela appeared as the exclusive HERO actor, model, and dancer in The Athlete’s Foot “School Hub – Back to School” campaign, celebrating individuality, style, and confidence. Due to its success, she was recalled to re-shoot for the brand’s next campaign.

She also featured in the Obela Australia “How Do You Hommus?” campaign, directed by Mitch Green, as part of a national multi-commercial campaign for the brand.

Carmela’s commercial experience also includes Zone Bowling and Timezone Australia (directed by John Kohlenberg, DK Advertising), as well as the Everdure Seabreeze Outdoor Kitchen – Family Dinner Lifestyle campaign, (directed by Deana Durisic, Artemis Creative) where she appeared in a sibling shoot with her brother, Anthony Karipis, highlighting natural family connection and warmth.

She has had the privilege of working under the direction of some of the industry’s leading creatives, including Michael Gracey from FINCH (director of the 2023 Woolworths Christmas campaign), Mitch Green (Obela Australia), Arthur Chan from ICON Agency (The Athlete’s Foot), Josh Logue (Woolworths Cricket Blast 2025), and Deana Durisic from Artemis Creative (Everdure).

Woolworths “Cricket Blast” campaign

Carmela appeared in Woolworths’ Cricket Blast campaign as a featured actor and model, bringing energy, enthusiasm, and playful charm to this fun, sporty production. Following the success of the 2023 Woolworths Christmas campaign, where Carmela captivated audiences with her charisma and versatility, she was recalled for additional filming. Directed by Josh Logue, with Senior Producer Mitchell Carr and Line Producer Richard Halsted, the campaign also featured famous Australian cricketer Alex Carey. Carmela’s performance highlighted her on-screen presence, natural expressiveness, and ability to engage with the audience, making her a standout in the production and continuing her strong collaboration with the Woolworths creative team.

Woolworths Cricket Blast campaign

Officially launched during Cricket Australia’s Ashes coverage on Channel 7, 7mate, and 7plus Sport on 21 November 2025! I was part of the fun group of kids in the Cricket Blast commercial, playing the batter in the watermelon-eating scene behind the scorekeeper, and joining the group of kids celebrating after the scorekeeper claps his hands.

Carmela was featured in TVCs and DVCs for the Adventist Church as part of the End It Now campaign. She appeared in a sibling-focused commercial, with her brother Anthony Karipis also featured in the campaign in a different family setting. Carmela brought authenticity and emotion to this important social awareness message, highlighting the significance of family, support, and taking action against abuse. The campaign was officially released worldwide on 22 August 2025 during the End It Now online conference.
