Carmela Karipis is a passionate and versatile performer who is thrilled to be part of the Elite Performance Team – Pre-Teen (12 & Under) at Village Nation, even though she’s eligible for the 10 & Under team! This incredible achievement is thanks to the support and belief of Byden Starr.

Carmela has been working extensively across a variety of styles, including:

🎭 Technique, Grade 5 Ballet, RAD Ballet

💃 Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz, Tap, Latin, Ballroom, Hip Hop

🎤 Musical Theatre, Singing, Acting

In addition to her training at Village Nation, Carmela is also an accomplished aerialist, specialising in silks and hoop, and is a skilled contortionist and flyer in acrobatics. She brings creativity, flexibility, and strength to her performances, whether she’s performing at the top of pyramids or showcasing her aerial skills.

Her versatility has allowed her to shine in multiple settings — from featured dancer roles for artist to starring in musical theatre productions like Annie Jr. and Moana Jr.. Always pushing herself to excel in every style, Carmela is excited for the next challenge and continues to grow as an artist, both technically and expressively.
